artist statement

My work emerges from a lifelong engagement with the natural world, which serves as both inspiration and mirror for reflection. Drawing on imagery of plants, animals, women, and hibrid forms, I explore the parallels between the natural world and human experience, vulnerability and resilience, impermanence and continuity, the cycles and seasons of life.

Each piece is created through a slow, layered process that becomes a form of quiet meditation. Fragments of the natural world are woven together to create images that honor its beauty and mystery, as well as the delicate threads that connect all living beings.
